I think the BEFORE BENDIS joke was my favorite, but I chortled at multiple items here!

She's even funnier when you hear her do it. Her voice is hilarious. She could do stand up.

Alissa used to work for me, back when I was a Production Manager and she freelanced for me when I was first starting out on my own. I knew she would be great at this column. Working with her is like sitting in a room with the the staff of the Onion, The Daily Show and Colbert all in one squeaky package. She snarks out non-sequiturs all day while listening to various news and podcasts. It's like some sort if web newsbyte Tourette syndrome.

She was originally going to try and do more things, on top of the weekly news, maybe a weekly or bi monthly comic review and try to do some more message board time, but the News took more time than she expected, and was by far the project she most liked, so I told her to just do whatever she had time for, and she promised me a weekly news feed.

That was a funny "news" recap!

Of course, now I want a BEFORE DIDIO line from DC.

Thanks guys! I'm happy to finally have my amazing talents recognized, and by such an august body. Three cheers for me.

And special thanks to boss for painting such a lovely picture of what it's like to work with me. (I know you meant well, but this won't save you).

We should start a petition about the BEFORE BENDIS line. Get comic shops to keep a clipboard handy by the register.

I didn't want to start a whole new thread for this, but, Joe, is there any way you can post/link a larger version of your One and Done page that's on The Blog? I can tell it's indeed a thing of beauty, but my weary eyes need it larger to take it all in, and also, congratulations!

And here I thought someone was expressing how much they missed me. But no.

That's the stuff, thanks Joe.

There was way more story in that single page than I ever would have guessed before I could read the captions. One of the things I like most is that all your visual elements have a 'large' quality to them without becoming crowded or jammed in. Kirby is like that, plenty of breathing space even when there's a lot happening.

How much are copies of One and Done again? I may have to break down and get one of these.
