I looked at the comics mags, where's Segar? Kelly? Peter Bagge?
The stuff that's left is such a drag because the Journal died

Crying many tears over the loss of Kim Thompson, taken from us far too young.  He accomplished an amazing amount and made the world a better place by being a decent man.
