So these were all the Pre-SPACE show coverage interviews I did with The Outhouse. It's pretty much dominant of the Ohio Independent Comics/Small Press Publisher scene. Joe Lee, I think as a nice focus or retrofit of these on the League front page, may I reccommend we do it as an Ohio focus? I think you would be able to provie a nice intro piece to the scene and maybe any other Ohio artists you know about we could include them as well?

And let's remember to pay it back with a bit of linkage to our Brothers-in-arms site, the Outhouse too! www.theouthousers.com

If this works out I can also put together a piece later in the year focussing on the New York Underground scene. We can hit up a few more as the scenes present themselves. If we do 4 scenes a year, I think that's a do-able schedule and would start to maybe draw the right kind of eyes towards the site?

Ok..so w/o further ado here are the links to the interviews for SPACE courtesy of the Outhouse.

First we have Event organizer and creator, Bob Cordy. Bob's been running SPACE strong for 14 years now.

Next we have creator/publisher Matt Dembicki. Matt was as SPACE this year showing off his new book/anthology focussing on Washington D.C. district untold stories. Worth checking out! It's been getting alot of buzz this year.

Moving on, we have a fun guy in the form of Michael Anthony Carroll, who actually took on a dare from Bob Cordy to do 8, count them! 8 Mini-Comics in 71/2 days! It's through my desire to increase my output, learn some pre-press and inspired by Michael Carroll's Mini-Comics guantlet that I came up with the recent idea for Jamming with writers. I invited MAC to contribute a script to wards this effort. Still waiting to see if he'll accept. Read about his own time as a SPACE veteren since the show's opening days here:

Next we have The Drunken Cat Comics crew of Brian Canini and Derek Baxter. These guys are all about having fun and a few brews with their comics creating!

Moving on we have a Trio of Ohio-Indie Comic Creators that are rapidly sharpening their stamp on the scene. This is the 2-Headed Monster Comics studio featuring writer James Moore, artists JOel Jackson and Katie Valeska Wright, you'll find this triple feature of interview in the inks below:

Last but certainly not least, or leasing....are two creators whom I've either planned on drinking with or jamming with on various beers and projects. We have Brian John Mitchell:

And

Stephen Hines!

So with that said....ALL OF THAT said....I'll be linking this post to the SPACE group on facebook so they can read or join in on the continued discussion here in the forums.
Thanks for checking it out everyone!
