Some people don't catch it at first, they think I'm showing some kindness with the farmer's wife patting his arm, hahaha. This is just a thumbnail. I'm as I've mentioned slowly, building my confidence up for the real deal.  Expect something even more intense when that starts to happen.

I'm really still struggling with the likeness imo. I'm thinking of maybe breaking out one of my books on caricatures to maybe help focus on enhancing the prominent features so I can know what to embellish on the actual piece.

I'll post those results if they're not too terrible when I do those and as long as Ed doesn't mind being stretched and pulled.

Okay...so dilemma...There's an upcoming L.A. gallery show and artists need to submit three pieces for consideration.

I did nine 12 x 12 paintings...so...2 questions...which makes the most compelling composition?

And which three stick out?

This may not help at all, but I like those nine as a single piece. It has interest like that and it's still only three foot square. If you're careful you could hang them on a piece of plywood without permanently attaching them to it, but I understand if you don't want to do something like that.

Ed, I'm pretty much in agreement with you about these working as a single piece. But due to the shipping and attempts at getting them into a gallery show if I'm lucky I'd have to select three.

Still that doesn't rule out a print of all nine right?

I've got to figure out the right arrangement of these as that single piece however.
