Firefly reunion

Is it an actual episode, or are the actors just sitting around musing about the good old days? I get the feeling it's the latter.

No not an episode, but there is talk of an animated series.

I did read somewhere that there is an anime series called Outlaw Star, that has more than just a small resemblance to Firefly

Outlaw Star was a great series! It came out years before Firefly. I've only seen the Firefly pilot, so I dunno about the comparison, but OS had a lot of magic and superpower-type action. The ships all had grappler arms so they would have martial-arts type battles in space. Also i think the OS cast was generally a lot younger than the Firefly cast, but maybe that's just a general anime thing. I do recommend it if you get a chance to see it.

I'm not suggesting any, malfeasance. Just read online somewhere about the similarities.
