He was a great actor with an awesome voice, playing parts in hundreds of old TV shows and movies. Land of the Giants, Mod Squad, The Virginian, Bewitched, Lost in Space, I dream of Jeannie. This guy had the greatest voice. Most recently he was the chilling voice of Mister Freeze in many of the various media versions of Batman. Michael Ansara is probably most famous for playing a Klingon, Kang in one of the greatest episodes of Star Trek (TOS) ever made, "Day of the Dove." He reprised the role years later by playing the same character in timetravel/flashback episodes of both Trek spinoff series, Deep Space 9 and Voyager.

I noticed in many of the articles announcing his death they left off that he played "Kane" in the Buck Rogers tv show, in three episodes.

He was a great one for sure. In addition to that singular voice, he was one of those actors with 'presence', hard to define, but he had it. Adding to that extensive list of great roles you've given, he played the Technomage Elric in Babylon 5 and was perfect for that mysterious character. What I'm most impressed by and did not know before now, is that he was married to I Dream of Jeannie Barbara Eden for 16 years, that is an accomplishment we all might envy!
