Anyone have any cartoon recomendations?

This was the first weekend after cleaning out the last of my reserves. With no more good toons in sight that i know of. I had been getting, Thundercats, Secret Saturdays(on boomerang i missed most of these first run), Green Lantern, Young Justice Invasion, and even Clone Wars is no more.

Not looking forward to the new Batman and i havent been abke to get into Ultimate Spiderman.

One which may have slipped under the radar is Out There. It's on IFC Friday nights and replayed a few times during the week. It's created by a couple of the South Park writers and done in a simple, but different style from SP. Basically, it is a 'coming of age' series set in the Midwest, also it's hella funny! Oop, we're not saying hella any more? sorry, I'm so unhip. We're not saying unhip any more?! Damn!!

No, but I'm pretty sure the one you're thinking of is Brickleberry on Comedy Central, also very funny but goes for the gross out humor more often than Out There. This one's main characters live in a small town, are a year or two into high school, have parents and siblings and normal existence only just a little more twisted than is usual.

But the Venture Brothers, I watch those episodes over and over and never seem to get bored of them, not sure why, except they're really good. Soon, the long wait is over though, new season!

Have you tried Archer? Probably not something you want to watch with your kids (up to you), but it's very clever. I didn't bother with it for a long time because the ads didn't do it justice, but it's fantastic.

I liked Archer, i think i just lost track of it somewhere. The seasons start at odd times? It doesnt have the same rewatchability as Venture Bros., or i might have lost track of that too.

It's on Netflix too.

Not a bad place to start, archer and generàtor rex maybe. liked the first few of both. I hope they get Secret Saturdays, i missed a bunçh of those. Anyone remember a càrtoon about two guys finding a giant robot-they fix with a car for a new head/cockpit ?

Seconds on the Archer recommendation, and I forgot about the new Scooby Doo! Yeah, it's just the Scooby gang and Mystery Machine in their umpteenth reboot, but this newest series is quite a bit more than its predecessors. I don't want to say that the new series is meta, it could be I guess, but I just don't want to say it. Although, each episode results in some kind of story conclusion, the main story arc, just concluded, lasted a full three seasons! I wonder if this iteration is as popular as previous ones though, in that Cartoon Network has been showing the entire season of shows in just two weeks, one or two shows per day consecutively, or does that mean that it's very popular, I don't know. They've had insane guests stars from the 70's too, including Blue Falcon & Dyno-Mutt, Jabberjaw (the shark with the voice of Curly Howard and face of Buddy Hackett) and the Funky Phantom for whom there is no reasonable explanation. r'ut r'oh!
