I often wonder if some of the venerable older comics creators wouldn't be available for something like this? Sure, Stan the Man is probably too busy, but folks like Roy Thomas, artist Richard Corben, to name two, maybe you'd just have to ask nicely, I don't know.
Additionally, I've heard that one of the League's own has a book about all things dragon in the works. When the time comes for an Interview be sure to ask yourself the tough questions!

Yeah, ya gotta figure if you ask enough people nicely, some gotta say yes eventually. I think I might try Roy Thomas first, he does Alter Ego now, which is a nostalgic magazine about comics it'd be a good fit. I did approach a writer a few months back when we first started. He was one of the pros who used to post at that other place until getting chased out by the trolls.

But he (the pro guy), felt that the lot of us quitting those other boards was too little and too late for him. He seemed to feel, despite what I recalled as many of us defending him at the time, he seemed to feel we didn't all fall on our swords enough for him. My first thought was wtf? But then on second though, I cut the guy some slack for his bitterness, having been the target of the crowd there myself on numerous occasions, I remembered how annoying it was. So, I figure I'd give it some time and approach him again, but with a better pitch and no mention of that other place.

That guy? He's all talk. It'll be a cold day at the printer in hell when his books get published!

A stockpile? Awesome! How many do you have? Can you get me list s I can schedule this stuff in and around other stuff?

And are they ready to place? Do you have art, photos and captions. Have the articles been proofread?

Sorry, when you said stockpile, you had only sent the one so far, and without art, so I got excited thinking you had a stockpile of stuff on the way. But that's cool I'm happy to get whatever you guys can send me!!

3 very long interviews, 2 e-mails worth of artwork, and 2 more emails coming soon with other artwork and links isn't a stock pile?

Have you seen how long my interviews are?

Oh then there's the book review for Dirk manning's Write or Wrong I'm almost done with too!

That's 4 articles right there man.

I'll be doing a round up/follow up after the First two interviews hit regarding Superheroes words/trademarks as well.

dude like i said above when i originally responded i had just received the one email, ii had just wanted a heads up clarification so i could plan ahead, i have since received the others and will get back to you with questions if need be

and yes the word "stockpile" is ambiguous enough for me to have misunderstood you

if i said i had a stockpile of nuclear arms or even a stockpile of legos would you think i had 1, 2, 3, or a dozen of them

it was just a communication error

again i appreciate whatever effort you or anyone makes contributing to the site ,
