Looks like I get to christen the new/old Creators forum with its first entry, just to get my beak wet so to speak. The last few weeks I've been working to get my ongoing series Teregrin listed at IndyPlanet, a great place for printed comics and digital downloads. One difference with their printed products is that they print the inside front and inside back as well as the front and back covers. So, I had to come up with an extra page or two for most books! here's the inside back cover for Teregrin #3:

Does it relate to something from the book's interior? Not really, I just like her young Nichelle Nichols looks. This has my usual half-insane coloring, but I'm wondering if it would be worthwhile to offer it as an 11x17 poster? IndyPlanet offers that as a service, but I believe I'd have to buy them upfront and then try to find a market. I'll be sure to post a link there once the issues are listed for digital download as well as print.

How much are they charging for the 11x17 posters Ed? I'm wondering about doing up some Indy Hunter ones maybe?

It's actually Ka-Blam Printing where you order posters, comics, flyers, even t-shirts. They're closely affiliated with IndyPlanet Comics, in fact I think they are the same people who run both. Here is their main page:

As you can see, the cost of a 11x17 poster is $1.50, minimum order is ten. Not a bad deal if you make a large order and spread out the cost of shipping and of course sell the darn things.

If you're wearing a hat, just lower it to below waist level and you'll be fine.
