Non-Daily Sketch

I'm not going to even try to do this on a daily basis, but maybe a few times a week? We'll see.



I've been watching a lot of Bollywood movies, so this looks nothing like anything you would see in those.

Yanno... proportion-wise, she looks pretty sound, man.

Now, what's going on with that tree there? lol

Seriously, though, for a quick knock-out sketch with, I assume, no photo reference, it's decent, with a sense of depth, and veneration.

The best thing about Bollywood..? EVERYTHING.

In closing, if I were drunk, I'd do 'er.

Awesome. I really like your composition, you have a very good eye.

A few times a week would be very much appreciated. It will probably be all I can manage too. I'll be trying for M-F, but I'm sure it won't be easy. No matter how hard i try to get into a routine, stuff always happens. I was hoping the more people that are doing it the more we would inspire and encourage, each other.

Yep. First one there to start the thread gets to pick the theme.

This lady was the cover model for a new comic called COMBAT JACKS. She and the creator, Mark McKenna, were signing copies at my local comics shop yesterday. This sketch is from memory of what she was wearing, with reference to the comic and some Facebook pictures of her as well. It looks nothing like her, and my inability to draw hair properly is worse than usual. She was really something in person, very sweet and witty and friendly. And physically like a comic book come to life.
