Calvin and Hobbes was awesome, and it's a shame that we don't get to see more of Watterson's work these days. I understand he does a lot of painting for his own pleasure, and more power to him. I guess he's happy with the limited contact he has with the outside world, but I hope he's willing to venture out more often at some point.

"Dear Mr. Watterson" a 2013 documentary film that explores the impact of Calvin & Hobbes, including interviews with Berkeley Breathed, Bill Amend, Dan Piraro, among others. Still looking for "Stripped," but it was a 2014 release and "Dear Mr. Watterson" was a 2013. Hopefully it won't be another year before "Stripped makes it to Netflix.
